Corey's Weekly Wisdom - 8/31/24

This week: on what true success is.

Quote:

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty;

to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived.

This is to have succeeded.”

-Ralph Waldo Emerson // American essayist, lecturer, poet

Analysis:

Success isn’t always a monetary achievement.

Money, although helpful in certain situations, isn’t the root of all happiness. Ever.

The little things in life, the relationships you build, and the memories you create will always hold much more value.

The golden rule of life is always this… To leave the world a bit better than it was before you.

That is the goal.

Keep Pluggin.
